Looking to get into doing some trolling. Was trying to figure out  how much weight to use with what speeds. How much line to let out. Also what kind of lures to use. Any tips or info would be great.

It really depends on what you're fishing for and when. For example, you can troll for crappie with a normal crankbait behind a slow moving boat, I sometimes troll a crank behind my inflatable boat while I paddle. On the flip side, people on huge lakes sometimes get downriggers or leadcore line and troll spoons very deep for trout and salmon in the summer.
