10' Catmaxx rods with Catmaxx 80 reels spooled with 80# power pro. 18" - 24" mono leaders with a 4 oz no roll sinker and the whole thing tipped off with an 8/0 Gamakatsu circle hook.

8' Shakespeare custom XH rods paired with Penn 330 GT2 level wind reels. 30# Andes monster yellow line and running same leaders and sinkers. 6/0 GCH.

As far as bait, live gill, cut gill, and shad, shad, shad, shad.
