Oh my goodness! That picture made me squirm in my chair!!! Ouch! Better put a couple beers on that!

I was telling my mother about this thread, and it reminded her of a fishing trip when I was 5. I have no memory of this, but she claims that I hooked one of my sisters in her top lip as I was casting. I, of course, couldn't help but make the comment that even back then, her mouth was always open!

Ha! Ha! I forgot about this fishing trip with my daughter, Michelle. She was 15 when she hooked herself in the ear on a backcast with her 3wt fly rod. And this is the reason we ONLY use barbless hooks. Can you imagine having to remove a barbed fly from her ear? She let me take the pic before she removed it and kept on fishing.

I've hooked and recovered someone's anchor, a feed bag with a dead deer in it. A lure a lost one month earlier. A piece of a boat seat 100' down just to name a few.
