Some of my favorites to use for smallmouth in tough, pressured conditions are a wacky rigged Senko, a Strike King Coffee Tube and a hair jig. All have worked for me in the past, give em a shot and let us know how it turns out.

If fast is not working then think slow:

Jigs are a great option in this situation ; Remember you are in control of the drop rate bye what size jig head you use and  whether you fish it horizontal or vertical  bye how much you let it fall on the drop .  Try A swim bait rigged sideways on a jig head or a simple ball head jig with a curly tail or other plastic trailer . Another good option would be a bass jig and craw trailer and fish it slow .

If you need to go slower try weightless flukes , wacky worms, or drop shot rig.

you can also try suspended cranks : crank it down then pause then twitch it a few times and pause again give the real handle a few quick turns and pause now repeat .

At times  top waters like a  zora spook or tiny torpedo worked slowly will work .

These are just a few Ideas to try .

Lots of things to try of course. Classic for my is a smoke sparkle grub on a ball jig, but I have pulled some nice smallies off rock piles burning a small bass pattern lipless crankbait through the rocks too.
