when you get a product to test does it come with one of the books they want you to preview or is that a thing of the past? |

No the product that came with the book offer is a gift for reviewing the book it's yours to keep. If you keep the book you will get a bill for it and you will start to recieve other books every couple of months. They are great books I have the complete set . however if your not interested in them send them back .
To sign up for the product test click on field test above and follow the directions . once you log in to stuffstuff take a look at the FAQ link it explains how to get more points how to apply for products etc.
hope this helps Welcme to the Club |

Who came up with the point system? Why would I waste 100 points on a $70 tackle bag when I could spend the same 100 points on a kayak that costs over $1200? I signed up for a 10 point test over two months ago, and havent heard anything since. |

First, they probably have about 50 of the tackle bags and one kayak to give out. Not much chance of getting the kayak. Also, technically, you're not spending the points. Once you've completed the review you get the points back and then some. You applied for ONE item? Heck, I keep my list at 10 items (the max). I received my third item since stuffstuff was set up today. |

Bassbum> someone asked the same question on the stuffstuff FB page today they said the same thing pater47 said: with the smaller low point products they get anywhere for 100 to 1000 plus and with the higher point more expensive products 1 maybe 10+ depends on the product . you have a better chance of getting a product if you keep your dashboard full just like before you win some and lose some difference is you have a one in ten chance of getting picked if you keep it full .. as a member of stuffstuff you can choose any 10 product your interested in from any topic fishing ,hunting , or home imp. sections. One more thing you said you signed up for a 10 point product 2 month ago if the product you picked is still on your dashboard you are still on the list once they get enough member to fill the number of product that they have (example let say they got 1000 pieces of the product you liked) they wont release it until they get 1000 members signed up . the product will be removed from your dashboard when they get those numbers if you are one of the members selected to test that product you will get a e-mail and see it on your dasboard that you were selected if your not selected you will not get the e-mail replace it with a different product. |

It appears that all the members who either got disgusted by the sign-up process or just plain didn't have time to fool with it have left the few of us who did in a better position to receive goods. I've seen many comments now from members already on their 2nd or 3rd item. Compare that to the old system...where nobody was getting anything. Do yourselves a favor folks...sit down...spend 15 minutes of your time and get onboard! P.S. On the contrary, from the other side of the fence, I'll have to agree, some of the items offered aren't worth some peoples 15 minutes...hee hee. |

I amcurrently testing my fourth product in three months. First was the Seaguar Kanzen Braid (15# test). After that was the YUM Money Hound. Then there was a My Topo Map ($50 Website credit). I decided to try testing stuff other than fishing stuff so I signed up to test a paint roller in the Home Improvment section and I received the Purdy paint roller. I am really happy with Stuff Stuff as I have received more test products in the last three months than in the past fifteen years as a Life Member of the NAFC. |

What is with this URL link that they want you to post to. The instructions are terrible. Not being a Computer genius wtf.. I put one on facebook wasnt good enough for them.. Where are others posting reviews to? So now I did not get credit for points. It really is pretty stupid I should be spending the time fishing not tryign to figure out how to post a review for stuff stuff.. Stuff IT! |

I also have had trouble with this URL links to your posts on reviews. Just about every post I linked to has been rejected also. some links won't even "take" when entered. I even got one email saying you can't get points for a post on a thread started by someone else...it has to be you starting the thread! I'm hoping I misunderstood that, because that is ridiculous. Ay any rate, the system sure is buggy, hope it can be simplified.

Update on the problem of adding posts to your product reviews. I told the Administrator of the site that was rejected about the problem...he contacted stuffstuff...and the issue was resolved. Hopefully the next product review will go smoother now. |

Do a search of the name on the internet. Something should pop up on them. |
