Started fishing the canals in Tamarac Florida less than a year ago and I'm not really familiar with them yet for the last month or two with almost no success. The spawn was easy but now the area I fish has mainly weed cover very little overhang. I've tried live baits (lizards, shiners, giant bugs I catch), top water plugs, soft plastic frogs, worms, lizards, crank baits, all with almost no result. I caught 3 bass yesterday on plastic worms but I see more fish than I'm catching. Lots more fish. What am I doing wrong? Also just saw some incredibly large carp yesterday any advice on them?
