The quality and quantity of this product is great and it is fairly priced to other similar products. You can fish them from top to bottom depending on how you rig them and they have great action .

I tested /fished the Yum Money hound using a 5/0
EWG (extra wide gap) hook. First photo shows (top lure) the hook installed per
the instructions note the amount of hook penetration using the lure right out of the package.
I found that by cutting the bottom
of the bait along the line printed on the belly (bottom lure) allowed  the hook shank to penetrate deeper into the preformed
internal belly slot exposing more of the hook point for better hook ups, it did not affect the action of the bait.

I recently tested the Yum Money Hounds too. The instructions on my package said to use a 7/0 EWG Texas style. I wish they had sent these out a few months ago...mid November in Ohio isn't exactly prime topwater time. The action of the bait is nice..."walk the dog" is easy to perform with these...and it casts like a bullet! Can't wait 'til next year when the duckweed comes on, this bait will be right at home in it.

Same here in Wisconsin got my lure in the mail on friday grabed the biggest hook I had (EWG 5/0 hook)
and fished it from shore on sunday morning temps were in the 40*d and drop to the 20 by supper time
I wanted to at least get it wet before the lakes get iced over LOL

I also got something to field test from StuffStuff. A 3000 yard spool of SilverThread co-polymer line. Like you said Mo, November isn't necessarily the best time to be testing some of this 'Stuff' but, I was able to.
I spooled it onto my spinning rig and went to the river for the chum returning. I was really quite pleasantly surprised. Not by the way it took knots so well or the way it casted- beautifully, but the way the 8# test line handled the 6# hen I landed!  I had several other bites and near misses but I was challenging myself AND the line since I didn't have a net with me. I would certainly recommend this line. As a matter of fact, my only complaint might be that I had a hard time seeing my line while drifting! What a bummer, huh?
I did get a pic of that fish but it's on the PC. I'll have to post it later- if I can...
So far the new 'system' for field testing gets a passing grade from me!

I got an e-mail that I would be getting a product in the mail to test. I hope I get it before I winterize my boat so I can give it a good try.

Thanks, Mo. FFF, you might have to be a little creative. I also sent a message to the persons in charge before StuffStuff took over, explaining the situation and basically they gave me an extension on when I had to submit my report. Maybe StuffStuff would do the same? What did they offer you?

It is something to put on your lures to add a glow in the dark effect. I am thinking it is maybe a tape that you put on it, but I will see when I get it.

I got my product in the mail yesterday. It said something about sending in pictures with the review. Did you all have to do that and pictures of what exactly?

Sending in pictures of the product and how or what you used it on is not reqiured to test the product .. sending in pictures give others a better idea of what the product is and how the product is designed to be used etc. by sending in pictures with your review it increases The # of points you get for testing the product any where from 2-4 points additional depending on the level your at.

Guess i have not been paying attention, just got the email yesterday about Stuffstuff. setting up the profile was pretty easy other than a few messages about the site being down or busy. now I just need to figure out what to apply for. looks like it will work out better than the before with the test products.
