It definitely sounds interesting. I've never been to a member meet before. What exactly goes on? Do you have to go for the week, or can you just show up for a day?

Welcome and Thank You for your interest in our meet

The meet is open to any and all members from around the country, as well as their Families.  Your welcome to spend the day or stay the week.
The campground is located in the backwater of the mississippi river, there's two miles of fishable shoreline around the island and three boat ramps to lanch from if you bring a boat and want to fish the main river.
The ultimate goal of the meet is to meet with fellow members to relax, catch a few Fish, and share a story or two around the campfire. There are no set rules at the La Crosse meet for fishing (other than having a valid fishing license for the area and adhering to the local size & bag limits) we do not have tournaments so there's no pressure to catch fish or special equipment needed bring what you have it's just members getting together and having a great time on and off the water.

Activities:
Members arrive throughout the week setup camp, meet / greet with other members, and or go fishing. Evenings we sit around a campfire share stories and plan for the next day’s fishing. Is up to each member as to how they want to spend the day some Member's pair up and fish together, others just relax and visit around camp or fish from shore, some go site seeing, shopping and etc.

Meals:
We meet as a group for breakfast and dinner. I will post an update with more info on the dates and times / menu offered as we get closer to July!!

if you have any other question or need more info let me know. look forward to meeting you

Hi gang

Time is sure flying by end of the week we're down to 4 1/2 months.
If you're planing on joining us this year and haven't reserved a camp site yet you need to do so..once the campground opens up for the season sites go fast.

Did you get your March magazine yet? On the front cover it says "When Crappies Come Hard." If you read the article it states that this has more to do with feeding patterns than spawning. What a disappointment. Oh well, I read the articles anyhow, I don't look at the pictures. ;-)
