Did you know that those applying to test lower level items in StuffStuff have already gotten selected for a second test? For some products StuffStuff gets thousands of units and others tens or hundreds. Usually, the higher valued products have fewer units and the lower valued products higher units. So if you have been applying for only the higher valued products, you have more competition than if you would be applying for the lower ticket items. If you are at a higher level, you have earned your right to test the higher valued products so you don't have to apply for lower ticket items, but do know there will be a longer wait time for the most popular products, so you are encouraged to apply to test products at all levels. StuffStuff tries to get everyone at least one product a year, but of course it depends on how often you are maintaining your active requests for products to test.

StuffStuff wants to let you know that the following products are going to be selected for testers soon and still need testers before they can do so:

    • MarineShield
    • Yum Money Hound
    • Get Her Covered

Don’t miss out – Go to http://www.stuffstuff.com/Fishing to apply today!

PS: If you aren’t registered, get started at http://www.fishingclub.com/joinstuffstuff">www.fishingclub.com/joinstuffstuff

this is what they sent....I asked to be taken off there e mail list heres what they said...There is no email list to remove you from as the only communications are with your account registration or account activity. I can certainly remove your account, however that means that you won't be able to re-register. I wold recommend that you just become inactive and no action would be required on your part.

Did you contact stuffstuff or members services ? stuffstuff is the new system for product testing and is seperate the only e-mail I ever get from them is when I'm excepted to test a product and or with regaurds to a question I asked about my account !
Are you talking about the books, knifes and other offer you get in the reg . mail from the club? Those product do not come from stuffstuff you need to contact members sevices and tell them that you wanted to opt out of their mail offers.

dpummill-kimble welcome to the Club forum

Not all the forum members feel that the club is a scam, if your looking for information, looking to share your fishing stores, want to meet members to fish with from your area etc. then you came to the right place. If field testing is the only reason you signed up then" Yes "you will be disapointed. Sorry To many people sign up thinking that they are going to get stuff every week to test and that just not the case.

Here's what is says per StuffStuff FAQ:
How often can I expect to get stuff to test? It depends on how active you are in StuffStuff. In StuffStuff, you get to apply to test stuff you are interested in. The more often you apply, the more often you will be selected for stuff to test; however, we do our best to make sure everyone gets at least one item to test a year.
    Have a great fishing season

It seems to complicated. Especially if your not on facebook. Certainly not worth my time. I'd rather be fishing.

Hello dpummill-kimble, welcome to the Club. I agree with RODTENDER, if you joined to get free stuff to test you're going to be disappointed. If you joined to learn more about fishing and share information wth other Club members and view the product testing as a bonus, I'm sure you've come to the right place!

Regarding product testing, I was never chosen once with our old system, but was fortunate enough to be selected to test a Cabela's Advanced Angler tackle system back in February and this week I was informed that I won a Lurecraft gift certificate! I may not be chosen again for a long, long time, but it doesn't matter to me - product testing isn't what keeps me here.

I hope you enjoy this Club as much as I do.

Wellsley you don't have to do FB or twitter to get picked for a test product... all you need to do is pick products  level three and under. When you complete the required Post Test Report for those product you will get your original points back plus points for filling out the report.

With level 4 to level 6 product you will lose a portion of your points and will need to do FB and twitter to get them back.

all I can say is that stuff stuff is 10 time better than what we had in the 15 years I've been a member under the old way I was selected three time to test small crank baits and hooks under the new system I've test three product since august ranging in price from $25 to $500

I got some tube jigs to test in the middle of last winter. Have also had some health problems that has kept me from testing this product.
Stuffstuff has been on my case to write a review. Even if I would have tested the jigs, I , for the life of me, can't find the area to write a review.

I am also a new member(life member). I applied to test a few level 1 items and was selected to test my first less than a week after I applied. Therefore I do not see nafc as a scam... The fact may be that as a life member or a trophy member you get priority for selection.
