I could write that I'd like to catch a huge winter steelhead in Northern Michigan, a 50" muskie on Lake St.Clair, a 5 lb. smallmouth on Lake Erie and learn to fly fish, but those are all things I'd like to do sometime in my lifetime - these ideas have been rattling around in my head for years. The only thing stopping me from attaining these "goals" is me.

I've been fortunate enough to spend most of my fishing hours on either Lake Erie or Lake Michigan for many years, then one day last summer a friend asked me to go fishing for bluegill on a small lake 2 miles from my home. No stress, no pressure - just plain and simple fun! It was the best day of fishing I've had in years.

My goal for 2013 is to take my Grandchildren out to one of the many lakes near my home and enjoy their company - and hopefully create a memory that will stay with them long after I'm gone!

Bill
