Hey, I received your E-mail and now I am having trouble with mine.

You asked about Yuma and one of the things I mentioned was www.yumamassman.com.  This is a free to join website, centered around Yuma and there are some friendly and knowledgeable people who log in there.  Another is www.azbasszone.com but it is a whole state/nationwide forum, some good people and a few real characters there.  It is also free. Bass or Bass will get try to get you onto the www.outdoorfishing.com forum, this is another good forum although more nationwide, a fair # of NAFC members there.

    Good searching--Allen

Thanks! You're right, I'm in the "great" northwest- about 15 miles due west of Seattle, in Port Orchard.
I've already been to outdoor-fishing and will check out the others soon. I appreciate the help although I don't know if I'll be able to 'hook' up with anyone for any fishing. Our time there will be kind of limited. Always wanting to try though- you never know, right? I'll let you know if I'm able to work something out!

Yeah, limited time causes problems and the need for Out-of-State licensees are problems. I know there are suitcase compatible tackle systems which could allow you to do some shore fishing in canals, drains or lakes.
Never been to Port Orchard, my wife has an Aunt in Tacoma and the last time we were there I caught a small blackmouth (15" maybe) off of the pier near the mouth of the Puyallup. Also saw a guy bring in a starfish about that size-natures version of an "old Boot".
Anyway, check out the other websites, they are free and sometimes very funny.

AZ, I didn't find anyone to fish with while in Yuma even though I went to the local fishing store. The guy working there tried to tell me about the tournaments but the timing wasn't right for that. Too bad, I think that might have been fun! I've no idea when I'll be in AZ again so we'll just have to see what the future brings. Thanks for trying!
