    This a classic pattern that is undoubtedly the most effective pattern for warm water or salt water and there are countless variations on this fly. Bob Clouser was really one of the great pioneers in tying for warm water species.

    Like all of my flies there are some changes made to the pattern that have found that have made the fly perform better for me. So try this pattern and see what you can come up with for your area.

    Clousers are awesome. Can't count all the saltwater fish I've caught in different species between CA and FL that were caught on clousers, many of them tied by myself. The variations are definitely endless.
