With yesterday not getting above freezing and last night down to 14 we have a thin layer of ice on the ponds. Tonight's forecast is for 15 degrees so I don't think it's going anywhere. But the weekend it's suppose to get to 50, so it won't last.

It was 91 degrees here today.

I'm launching the boat and going fishing Thanksgiving weekend. Should be @ 70 degrees during the day and @ 45 overnight . Sorry, just gotta rub it in.  Of course I pay for it in the summer when it's just too freakin' hot to fish , for me anyway. What I wouldn't give around the end of August for a nice day of ice fishing!!LOL.

Still have ice, Saturday will take care of it thou when temps go into the 50's. In August you'll just have to go ice fishing da other way.

It didn't go below freezing last night and will get to 60 tomorrow. What ever ice was left will be gone.

was 21 degrees lastnight and didn't get above freezing today and now in the teens tonite but is supposed to get in the fortys this week so i suppose ours won't last either but at least its got the water good and cold,,won't be long ice fishing people.

I am checking out my gear. started ice auger yesterday to make sure it is ready. got plans to go to milacs and other surrounding lakes from christmas to new years.

back down to 18 last night and will be close to the same tonight. Ice is back on the ponds but it's suppose to warm up next week.

Anybody been out on the ice south of the Arctic Circle yet? It's still in the mid 40s in MA and it hasn't dropped below 32 for an entire day so far. So sad to see my gear all lined up next to my bench for a third year straight now with no ice. If this keeps up I might just have to duck out for a weekend and head north in search of ice. I don't think it's even gotten cold enough for the trout to move shallow yet. Major bummer so far.

here in the north east corner of South Dakota we have 9'' of ice on most lakes. been out several times now,what a blast.

No safe ice in this part of the country.

Looking for ice near green bay wi anybody help

We have ice here but have not seen anyone on it yet. It is suppose to get down to 0 new years. If that doesn't do it I don't know what will. It hasn't been above freezing all week and it looks like another week for sure.

There's a minute layer of ice near the spot where I'm doing my Eagle Scout Project and it's not going to be above 34 for over a week, think I might finally get some hard water action this year!

Only ice i've had was about 1/8 inch in the pond by the house yesterday morn.

one fisherman went through the ice on Monday and divers retrieved his body yesterday. yesterday the Oakland County Sheriffs and Waterford rescued 2 guys from the ice. not a good start for the year
