Sorry to hear that pillman. People are finally getting on the ice here. It must be good ice because there a lots of them.

With yesterday not getting above freezing and last night down to 14 we have a thin layer of ice on the ponds. Tonight's forecast is for 15 degrees so I don't think it's going anywhere. But the weekend it's suppose to get to 50, so it won't last.

We've got ice, but I don't trust it yet.

I am not an ice fisherman, but do keep an eye on the ice. Many of the lakes and ponds around here had safe ice, but with the recent warm spell I sure wouldn't trust it!
Lifer in NE Illinois Gen. 1:28 I didn't rise to the top of the food chain to become a vegitarian!

its -13 right now,we are in a cold snap for sure,16-22+inches of ice so its been ice fishin time for some time allready ,lots of fish caught and its been real good up till this cold snap,we'll see how it goes now.

OHH yea ice cubes on lake erie and the pond has a 2-3 inch clear hard ice cover looks great for the weekend. Oh boy!!!

RIVBB where are you at, Alaska Or Northern Ontario?

I saw pond skaters today and it's supposed to be 27 for the next couple days so in all likelihood I'll be out for my first ice outing on saturday afternoon and I am PUMPED
