Ok so I've watched the last couple of videos and I have powerpro on all my spincasts and love that stuff. Christ I can fish that for a couple of years before I need to reverse it onto another reel, then fish it for a couple of more years. I use a flouro leader and almost never lose powerpro. I'd never put it on a bass baitcaster, though, because 1 of 10 casts ends up like the one you're showing in your last video. Are you just being funny, or do you really dislike the stuff?

Rodrigo...scroll up a few posts...I just explained it to AZ...its a spoof...making light of the "braid guys" on twitter and facebook. Those guys posting pics of their reels...slap full of expensive braid. I use lots of braid, not just Power Pro, also Tufline, Nanofil, and Seaguar Kanzen. I use it on spinning and baitcasting reels. That reel in the video, that's my topwater froggin' rig. That's 65lb. Power Pro on it, and I had to swing it directly into the ground just to get that backlash. Guys who try powercasting that skinny 20lb. braid on a baitcaster usually have the trouble you were referring to. That heavier line doesn't dig into itself like the lighter weights do. And I'm referring to shore fishing...powercasting...if you're in a boat just easily tossing to your targets...you'll probably never get those tangles. I know guys who use 15lb. to 30lb. braid on baitcasters...but for swinging as hard as you can...trying to reach a target 50yds. out...that rope on my reel in the video is the ticket.

Now back to the videos...pop some corn and try not to take it too serious this time as I offer tips for the Catfishermen on "proper" sporting etiquette:

If the ice melts Rodrigo...but many guys are going after them through the ice.

Do you do any ice fishing? It's about 1 of 4 yrs we get ice thick enough to walk on, so I've tried it once when I was a kid. We used an axe to get through the ice. Ended up cold and wet by the time the hole was big enough to fish. Stood there for at least a minute b4 we were shivering & gave up.

I've never ice fished...but would like to try sometime. Not sure how well I'd deal with the cold...but it looks fun.

This thread started out with me trying to post a link to my 2012 season slide show. Well...I since learned how to post the video itself...so long screwy link!
