I  fly often to Canada for Pike fishing and have been using a homemade rod tube for years.
It has come to the end of its usefull life and I am ready to purchase a "factory" made tube.
I want something that will stand up to the abuse of airline baggage handlers and have been looking at Plano model 46102. It is large enough to carry what rods I take with me, but I cant find any "User reviews".
Have any of you had experience (good or bad) with this rod tube,or what other tube would you recommend.

Check out this ebay seller. I bought a rod tube from him last summer. It worked great and the price is right. I was able to put 5 rods in this case with no problem, and it's airline safe. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Telescoping...d=ViewItem
