This is the first year I managed to get everything I personally needed to be out on the ice alone.  Now with temperatures below zero for almost a week I can't get out to enjoy the ice in just a pop up.  Just curious how many brave soles have been out regardless and how the action has been.  (Guess i best start saving for a nice permanent)

Here in Wisconsin we've been experencing the same deep freeze as you. lakes in my area of the state are finally getting some good/safe ice.    Thinken about going out but first I need to find my gear.

We're having a heat wave with a high of 32 tomorrow so I'm ready to roll at first light. Hopefully getting on top of some crappie.  Best of luck if you get out rod
