    Here's reel #3. It is a Penn 712. Just a bit smaller than the 710. This reel is an excellent choice for light inshore fishing or med/hvy freshwater fishing. What I did to this was basically the same as reel 1 & 2, I stripped the original green paint...With a bench grinder wire brush, I totally cleaned all the parts free of old paint, down to the bare metal. Then I powder coated the body and rotor cup with black satin powder paint. I polished the side plate...It's bare aluminum. The drag knob was primed and painted black along with the reel handle. Bail and other parts are clean and polished as well. Not bad for a reel that's over 30 yrs old... It smooth, I'm really diggin' it. Not sure if I'm going to sell it.

    You gonna get some braid on that thing or just leave it naked like that?
