I tend to think most Club Members have more fishing gear than the average angler in North America, but I'm wondering just how obsessed we are! How many of the following do you own?

    Open water rods

    Ice rods

    Tackle storage systems

I have no ice rods. Every 5 years or so it freezes the lakes enough to go onto, but it's usually only for a couple of weeks.
16 rods that are rigged for fishing. One rod I may even complete rebuilding... before I die and several others kept for decorative purposes.
    2 fly rods
One tackle bag. Several old tackle boxes, but I'm mostly pulled the plastic boxes out of them and interchange them with the big bag.

BTW welcome to the club. Membership on the boards waxes and wains more than the moon. We're pretty helpful, if you have a question ask. Someone is bound to have a great answer, the rest of us jokers will probably make you laugh.

This is a good question...can't let the wife see this..lol I have, ummm....lets see...2 Quantum Cabo spinning reels..2 Cabo bait casters, 3 Cabo conventional reels (non level wind) 1 cabo conventional (level wind) 1 Energy bait caster, 2 Boca spinning reels, 1 Daiwa Saltist non level wind reel. A few Penn spinfishers and a bunch of lower end reels that I have for "guests" to use on the boat. As for rods...Most are Quantum Boca's Powerlites casting and spinning, Boca inshore spinning and casting, A few Ugly Stiks and few BPS inshore rods. For fresh water, I mainly use the Energy reel and Smoke reel, along with a few spinning outfits, that aren't worthy to mention..lol 3 tackle bags full of crap and in my garage a big filing cabinet that i use to keep other tackle and boat equipment in...It's contagious..lol

With yesterday's addition of a shiny new Bass Pro Bionic Plus spinning combo (half price for the Spring Fishing Classic) I'm rockin 6 open water combos, with a couple more loose rods and reels, 2 ice combos, a fly rod, 5 tackle boxes/bags and 3 saltwater setups. Thank god I got to set aside half my loft as the fishing room, haha.

Enough for me and any guest that comes around.

Salmon, Steelhead, Bass, Walleye, Trout, Jetty, specific set-ups.  Fly, Spin, Level Wind.
Too many storage systems to know where they all are.  20+ blanks ready to build with everything that goes with them.  Dozens of jigs ready for sale or use.
Drift boat ready for drop of the hat excursions.  Kicker, troller, oars, whichever required that day.

I fish too much in some peoples opinion, not mine.

I'm really not surprised by the responses I got, and I sure feel better about all the stuff hanging in my garage right now. By the way JustDave, that is a GREAT picture!
