Down East's Model D14 all-metal Rod Holder is designed for handrail mounting on either round or square rails measuring from 7/8'' to 1-1/4''. Designed for light to moderate fishing for species up to 25 lbs with up to 30 lb line, this quality, all-metal rod holder will hold rods measuring up to 1-1/8'' diameter including fly rods.  These rod holders are used but like new - in great condition.  They are constructed very well and will last for MANY years!  These rod holders can be used with spinning, casting and fly rods and offer several horizontal and vertical mounting positions. How do they work?

1.  To open, simply pull up rod holder.

2. To close, simply lower rod into holder.  Seat by pushing down on rod butt.

3.  When the "strike" comes, lift straight up!  Nothing to release, unclip, or undo!
