Hello. I'm new to the fishing around Fort Drum, and really fishing altogether. The most I've ever really done was largemouth fishing in my dad's pond with worms and bobber, and then smallmouth in the Black River behind the base. I didn't get much chance to go out because I was getting ready for deployment. I am currently deployed but am looking for spots/tips/ and fishing buddies because my wife is going to be staying in Virginia for the time I'm at Drum before I PCS. It looks like I'm going to mostly be gettin in on ice fishing, however it also looks like I'll still have water in a lot of places when I return.
