There was a guy at work who had a half acre pond in his back yard that may as well been a hatchery for bass. Ive seen people catch them on anything you pitched in the water. (my buddy caught one on a wood chip he tied his line around). Anyways my buddy was fishing next to me and hooked a nice 4 lb larry. After a few seconds of fighting it his line popped. I casted about five minutes later and hooked up... After fighting it for a couple minutes I lifted it on shore. My hook came flying out after the fish fought a bit and got tangled on a tree.
After looking at the bass I released it and went to get my line untangled out of the tree. When I looked at the tree I could see my bait hanging and to mine and my friends astonishment there was another Senko with a hook in it dangling from mine! It was the same one my buddy had just lost not five minutes earlier!
Bass must have been starving!
