hubby and I love to fish, but we seem to catch nothing. We search fishing sites, and NAFC is one of the best! HELP, what are the best lures, live fish (tried both) weights, etc so we can feel that 2 hrs every week has not been a waste of time, LOL. We fish in Oklahoma, OKC, Shawnee areas.
Is there a best time to fish, please keep in mind that we are in our later 60's. We just cast off, and fast or slowly pull the line back and repeat; we tried keeping close to the dock, as croppie seem to like the closeness of docks.
We always watch, learn, ask questions of other people fishing; read articles, willing to learn and try. Would love to catch a large bass, or anything that we can bring home and cook for dinner. We don't have any boat to fish from only large docks.
ANY HELP, or suggestions would be appreciated. I have always love to fish, being a daughter of a commercial Norweign fisherman, who fished from Seattle to Alaska, berring seas, wished I had asked my Dad when he was still alive, HOW TO CATCH A FISH! Lol Thanking you in advance. Glen & Helene
