Warriors on the Water (Military Appreciation Bass Fishing Tournament)

I am an active duty Soldier on FT Bragg, NC and I just wanted to bring this great organization to light. I have fished with these guys and all the soldiers really appreciate tha opportunity to get out in the water and take a deep breath of fresh air and chance to wind down for a day and fish.

I wanted to say Thank to the Anglers that put this on and to all the Volunteers!

I wasnt there but im glad u had a good time. You guys are on the line against those who would see to it that we dont have this freedom. This is what its all about! Fish On!

How does someone get to fish one of these events? I have been in the Guard over 15 years have been deployed twice.

Go to the website and contact the folks that run the event. The way we get the word for the tournament is through our 1SG's but I know they have soldiers from all over participate.

I believe there should be more of these programs for the military. I would like to thank all of the individuals who come together to work and volunteer. Thank You!!! As a soldier i really do appreciate it.
