Ice Fishing Ruined

Jan 31

Up here in CT we have had lots of snow.A real lot. It started on my yearly january ice fishing vacation and hasnt stopped. I geuss you can still fish if you dont mind shoveling for a few hours then standing in 20 inches of water all day.All that weight on the ice makes me a little nervous also.Thank God April is around the corner.

i live in connecticut and dont mind the snow ive still had great success catching bass, trout and perch maybe you should just get some waterproof boots instead of sitting inside crying that the season is ruined

The snow where im at is waist deep. It doesnt stop me from getting out at least twice a week though. But it does suck. I like fishing for northerns in the winter and had a decent year so far. Thank you for the tip though, really! I never considered waterproof boots while standing in the water (slight sarcasm). You seem like a nice guy.
