Pitbulls For Boat Security?

Jan 03

Imagine waking up to find your boat gone. Boat, trailer, motors, electronics, rods, reels, tackle—everything on its way to some distant state. While it's the stuff of nightmares, it does happen.

As fishermen, one of our greatest assets is also one of our greatest faults. We're good guys. But not everybody's a fisherman at heart. And, although infrequent, not every fisherman is one of the good guys. I know, hard to believe.

So, how do you protect your rig? Bunk in your boat? Hire a night watchman? Get a couple pitbulls? Nope, all too complex—and you could find yourself in another state come mornin'.

It's simple: Chock it and lock it! We like how easy this Trimax chock system works. You can rest easy knowing that your boat, trailer, truck, or ATV is safe. Heavy-gauge powder-coated steel with strong pick-resistant locking mechanism. And less than $90. Check out other security products from Trimax here

What's to stop a well prepared thief from checking out your rig one night and then coming back the next night with a spare tire, a jack, and a lug wrench ?? It's better to back your rig and and block it in with your truck. And use ball locks to prevent them from even hooking up to the trailer..
