This week I'm up near the Canadian border on Lake of the Woods.

I've strategically positioned myself over water deep enough to catch sauger, but shallow enough to catch walleye. As important as location is, it is still a good idea to change baits and presentation styles to determine what each species will bite on a given day.

Great info... but wish he also spent some time talking about the stick bobber he was using, the lure attached as that line was just as productive. I would also like to know was that a Vexliar unit he was using. I had the chance to see one used for the first time just the other day and we cleaned up on the gills... great units and a necessary items that I am now sold on, just need to sneak some fun money to get a unit... without making Mama upset!
