How To Catch Brown Trout & Steelhead

Great Lakes 2013 Brown Trout Steelhead Ice Fishing School will be Jan. 25, 2013 and Jan. 26, 2013. This Ice School is designed to teach angler's how to catch big browns and steelhead in the Great Lakes tributaries, marina's and harbors .

We have a 3-hour class room session on Friday evening on Jan. 25 at Gander Mountain in Franklin, WI from 6-9pm. This class is very detailed about each harbor, river, and marina. We discuss where to fish, how to fish, when to fish, and more. We'll also discuss the importance of different types of eggs, skein, spawn, the importance of fall rate, of hand tied hair jigs and much more.
 
Each year the content in the class changes due to new area's we fish, new baits, and new techniques used to catch these trout.
 
On Saturday Jan. 26 we will meet on the ice and fish from 7am-3pm with myself, Capt. Joe, along with several other guides to help with set up and teaching. Heated ice shelters are available, tackle, bait, and lunch is also included. This event keeps getting better and better.  Cost is &150.00 per person.
