I stopped by a good friend’s office to touch base after not crossing paths much during a busy season. The type of friend that you don’t have to see for five years and you can act like you haven’t been separated for more than a few days—the best kind.
A couple of my fishing buddies have been wearing an insulated zip coveralls for longer than I have been walking and talking. It was this week however that they weren’t giving me any grief about my Ice Armor suit. Literally soaked to the bone, it cut their day short, and I stayed comfy!
When it comes to fishing however, I know that technology not only helps you catch more fish and be more efficient, but it can save your bacon.
An old timer told me when I was just getting serious with my fishing that, “You can either be the guy that makes the reports, or the guy that reads them.” He was of course referring to the anglers that blaze their own trial and do what it takes to catch them or those that attempt to take the easy route.
