I recieved one of these last year from NAFC & Fishclipper. I check it out on all my rods and different types of lures. It will protect you from getting hooked or one of your family and your pets. But it had hard time with Buzz baits, and large lures. I also suggested that they have rubber around the gripping area for the rod.. It left gouges in my rods and messed up the finish. Other then that, it is a good safe product, but little to high in price .

I had put on my rods and spun the Fishclipper alittle and back and forth and it did make marks on the rod. I got the Fishclipper from the company in the mail. Then I sent my trial on the product. This is safe but it could use little more protection on rods and ability to handle all lures. without the points of the hook sticking out. When I got this, I wanted to give the best scenario and make sure they get the facts Positive or Negative.
