Sunday, January 02, 2011 11:07 AM
every time I tied one they slipped, no matter what size line I tried, I chucked mine in the garbage.

I am a fair weather fisherman and practiced tying them and am hooked. I gave some to an ice-fisher buddy, and he thought they were great!

I like the way it ties, it is so easy to. I all so like how light the hook is. I it is great for live bait.

to me the best invention since sliced bread. Soooo easy to use.

It is easy to tie, I give that. I've tried both monofilament and braided lines. To my surprise the "knot" is holding quite well. But the hooks unbend so easy, when I tried to test the line.... Another con - you cannot use these hooks with loop knot. Conclusion: I am not hooked....

I just recently tried these hooks and I was very impressed by the ease of use. they are easy to tie and if done right, the hold very tight. Thumbs up.

A good design, still prefer the old method tho, I guess too that i am just so used to artificial baits

These hooks are simple to use. The allow for a quick tie. I used them ice fishing and was impressed with the quality. I would definitely buy these hooks for larger species as well. Would like to see if they come in 1/0 or larger to use for summer bass fishing as well.

size12 were excellent for power egg fishing , 2eggseven covered the knot. The sie 4 hooks worked well when texas rigging live crawlers for trout. Worth sharing with my fishing partners. con- Can't seem to find any locally or any dealer who had even heard of them!

These hooks are great easy to use and very light .but you have to tie them right or they will slip there great for live baits i give them the thumbs up...

I found then difficult to use and the connection was not secure

I found if you wind them counter clockwise they hold but don't seem to hold if you wind the line clockwise. Anyone else find this to be the case?

I did not care for these hooks at all.The line keep sliping off of the post and it was even worse trying to tie them in low light.
Tuesday, February 15, 2011 3:39 AM
The hooks are alot smaller than what I am used to. After a few mintes of trying to tie them, I ended up putting them mon a small swivel, and seemed to work ok. I ended up with a couple small bluegills, and a few swallowed hooks. Not the type of tacke that is fond in my tacklebox.

i only had the number 4 hooks to try but they are great
Wednesday, February 23, 2011 4:54 PM
i was only able to try tieing them at home and have not had an opportunity to actually fish with them. however i was having a tough time getting the line not to slip when using a heavier line.

How Do You Recieve/Get Them For Free To Try? Anyone Know!

Odd, I tested these but my review isn't here. Anyway, I had a hard time initially tieing them because I started the wrap the wrong direction, you have to loop the line over the little nipple then wrap toward you. If you start the wrap the wrong way the hook will come off. I really liked the hooks and will be buying some for this season.

The idea is good, but the quality of the hooks themselves sucked...I thought they were cheaply made. One had a broken off nodule another with the eyefused shut.
Thursday, April 14, 2011 8:05 AM
I thought the concept was a good one but the hooks were too small for this idea and the hook quality was less than PAR.

I use those hooks. (The steel hooks). Seem like the bluegills are to smart for them. They just suck the worm and crickets right off. Then I put on the small brass hooks on line and had a great day with the bluegills and crappies

I like them in the winter for trout. Don't know if I'd trust them for larger fish
Saturday, May 21, 2011 5:00 PM
I found that the size 4 hooks were too small. I too caught a couple of small 'gills with them with swallowed hooks. Need more size options.
Monday, August 01, 2011 2:13 PM
i would like to try them
Friday, February 17, 2012 11:30 AM
I loved them and getting more of them, don't know why they didn't publish my test of them. I wish I could find them in stores I ask for them, because I think they are great.

THE LAST ITEM I TESTED WERE THESE CHEAP MADE IN CHINA HOOKS. I SAID THEY WERE JUNK AND IF A FISHERMAN CAN'T TIE THE PROPER KNOT TAKE UP GOLF! SEND ME A YETI COOLER OR FENWICK ROD OR ABU GARCIA REEL OR A SCHRADE KNIFE. JUST DON'T SEND ME ANY MORE MADE IN CHINA SWIVELS OR HOOKS! WELL I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING ELSE SINCE MORE THAN TWO YEARS NOW. TIM

I received these some time ago, used them, liked how easy they were to "tie" on. I went through all that were sent because they kept coming off. After reading some of these posts, I may have been wrapping them in the wrong direction. I would like to try some more. Where can I get them?
Saturday, March 17, 2012 2:18 PM
