I regularly go fishing for muskie and stripers and have been looking for a good baitcasting reel for it. I would love to product test this reel, it seems perfect for the type of fishing i do.

I have been a Abu Garcia user for many years and currently have the 5000. I want to try this one on largemouth bass to compare the two.

The one I have is the 5501C3 (left hand). Used for large mouth bass for +10 years. Great reel. Used on a 7' MH Berkley Hank Parker rod. I found I didn't like the reel on lighter rods.

So, I see that at the top of each tested product there are 2 quotes about the product. Where are the rest of the comments from others who have actually tested this product through the club? I'd like to see more than just a rating number and 2 quotes. Does anyone who works for the club actually read these or are we just wishing?
