The Avocet has a dual-bearing-supported pinion that gives it free rotation with an EZ flow balanced rotor, so you can cast farther with ease. The reel also features eight ball bearings with instant anti-reverse, heavy-duty metal gearing, and an Everlast spring system with the quick-change aluminum spool. A spare spool is included. I own 1 of these for every spinning rod i own. so smooth and no line twist. Cant find a better reel for the price.
