“I love the Pflueger Trion—the look, feel and the design! The wide spool allows really smooth casting, and it’s worth every penny!”

Terry Ogden, Elbert, CO

“I recommend this reel because of its tight action, smooth drag and instant anti-reverse.”

I would recommend the Quantum KVD signature series bait casting reel, instead of the Pflueger Trion low profile reel. The KVD signature has a 10 bearing system with a 7:0:1 lightning fast gear ratio, while the Pflueger Trion has 6 bearings and only a 6:4:1 gear ratio. The KVD Signature reel and the Pflueger Trion are very close in price, but in my opinion the KVD reel is the better choice for your money. I paired my KVD signature with a BPS 6'9" Carbon lite rod and love it.

I use the the trions, thr wide spooled baitcaster and some spinning ones. I can never find the redesigned ones, but I would love to test it out. If they are half as good as the original ones, then I will be impressed.
