This knife features a 7¼-inch stainless steel blade with an extended tang that reaches nearly to the butt of the grip. Hand-ground scallops in the blade create air pockets that prevent the fillet from sticking, and the molded TPR handle’s “fishnet” texture provides a secure grip. An injection-molded polypropylene sheath is included. Contact Columbia River Knife & Tool at (800) 891-3100; crkt.com.

“This fillet knife is awesome! Those scallops on the blade work very nicely, and its edge is excellent, too. I would recommend it to other NAFC members.”

Scott Miles, Houghton Lake, MI

“This is a very good knife for bigger fish. I received mine just in time for the end of salmon season—it worked great.”

The knife that I tested was a ProFlex Angler. It fits your hand very well and it stays sharp. Not top of the line, but a good tool.

I tested the ProFlex Angler and the knife was an amazing knife in my opinion but the sheath just didn't hold the knife. Upon looking at the picture a little closer my sheath didn't have a latch on it that the picture showed it to have so I may have got a defective sheath not real sure but the knife itself is real nice and I love using it.

I received this knife as a tester... A bit too stiff for me perhaps, Handle is a bit uncomfortable. The sheath is pretty much worthless with no way to secure the knife or belt loop / carrying attachment. Good for cutting bait but as far as fillet knives go. I have seen better for less $$. Thanks Though!!

I received this knife yesterday just in time to test it. I had already received two when I joined the club. These are cheap Chinese junk. Steel not of the best quality. Don't hold an edge very well. Were not very sharp when I received the knife. No sharpener included as with some other knives of the same MSRP. At $2.99 OK. But at suggested MSRP of $19.99 no way.

I received two knife's, not sure if they are this or ones for signing up. I enjoy these two, alittle to stiff with the small bones, but might just be me. Ya not the best filleter out there. But a nice bait line tool for the box.

i also tested this knife and was not impressed, the handle is too bulky and not comfortable in your hand for long periods of time, tried on panfish and cut bait and blade bent about 2 inches from the tip and lost its edge quickly
